Dr. Dawn Loesch

A 1998 graduate of the University of California, Dr. Dawn Loesch completed
an internship at Arizona Equine and Surgical Centre in Gilbert, Arizona, and
a surgical residency at the University of Florida. In 2003, she passed the
certification examination of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

At the University of Florida, Dr. Loesch was involved in research on lower
airway disease in Thoroughbred racehorses and evaluation of an experimental
drug that shows great promise for relieving inflammatory pain. Dr. Loesch's
main clinical interests include colic surgery and evaluation of poor
performance with special focus on lameness and respiratory problems.
